General Terms and Conditions
Introduction
Welcome to ibet. We want you to enjoy the time you spend with us. As this is an online gaming and gambling website, a number of laws and regulations govern our activities. These requirements are set out as clearly as possible in these terms and conditions (the “Rules”).
Thank you for taking the time to review the ibet Rules. These Rules explain what you can and cannot do on ibet, how we use your personal information, and how we manage the Site. We have sought to present the legal terms as clearly as possible.
The Basics
The Rules constitute a binding agreement between you and us. By clicking that you accept the Rules when creating your account and/or by using the Website and/or by accepting any Bonus or prize, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the Rules, including any amendments to them. If you do not agree with the Rules, you must not register and must stop using the Website. We may amend these Rules at any time. Where we make material changes, we will contact you and inform you in advance of the updated Rules.
Definitions
You will see the following terms used throughout the Rules:
“Bonus” covers all promotional offers that provide a tangible reward, including but not limited to: welcome offers, reload bonuses, deposit bonuses, free/bonus spins, free bets, and risk free bets.

Licences
As we provide online gaming, we are required by law to state the following:
We are licensed and regulated in Malta by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) under licence number MGA/B2C/748/2019.
Who can play
To play the Games on the Site, you must be:
over 18 years of age or above the legal age for gambling in the country you are playing from;
an individual (a natural person). You cannot be a company or other legal entity;
playing the Games for yourself, in a non-professional capacity, and not on behalf of someone else;
legally permitted to play the Games on the Site;
at least 18 years of age for the purpose of playing in the Sports, Virtual Sports, Casino, Live Casino, Poker or any of the Jackpot Games offered on the Website and, under the laws applicable to you, permitted to participate in the Games offered on the Website, and gambling is permitted in your country of residence.
Internet gambling may be illegal in some jurisdictions. You understand and accept that we cannot provide legal advice or assurances regarding your use of our services, and we make no representations as to the legality of the services in your jurisdiction. You must verify the relevant laws in your jurisdiction before registering and using our services, as you are solely responsible for ensuring that you gamble lawfully.
Because of the above, we are not permitted to allow persons located in certain territories to open accounts with us (and we do not permit accounts to be accessed or operated in those territories). Please note that if you are permitted to open an account with us because you register in a territory where gambling is legal, but you later travel to a territory where we are not permitted to offer gambling, you may be unable to access our services. You must keep your login details (name, email address, password, and/or other credentials) secure and must not share them with anyone. If you share them (including unintentionally), you are responsible for any abuse or misuse of your account. We accept no liability for monies or information lost due to unauthorised use of Your Account arising from improper use of your login details. It is your responsibility to keep your details confidential and to secure any linked email address, personal computer, or other device through which Your Account can be accessed. You are fully responsible for any misuse of your login details or devices. You can view your latest login and logout times within Your Account. If you believe your credentials have been disclosed to a third party, you must notify us immediately so that we can provide you with a new password. Unless due to our negligence, any unauthorised use of your login details and any unauthorised use of your account is solely your responsibility and will be treated as your own use.
You must keep your registration information and account details accurate and up to date at all times.
If you become aware that any information provided at registration or in your account is incorrect, you must inform us immediately or amend the information without delay.
It is your responsibility to determine whether your activity on the Site is legal in the country or territory from which you are playing.
You may only hold one account on this Site. If you hold more than one account, you must inform us immediately.
Only one account per household is permitted. If you become aware that more than one account exists within your household, you must inform us immediately.
You may play any Game on the Site provided you have sufficient funds in your account.
You are not permitted to transfer or receive funds between accounts and/or to transfer, sell, or purchase accounts.
You agree that we may verify your identity. You agree to provide all documents we request to confirm your registration information and payment details, such as (by way of example only) a copy of your passport, utility bills, bank statements, or other documents evidencing your source of funds as may be required.
You must not exploit any technical error or vulnerability for your benefit. We are entitled to cancel and reclaim any winnings gained in this manner.
You must not engage in any fraudulent, collusive, fixing, or other unlawful activity in connection with your (or any third party’s) use of the Site. You must not use any software-assisted methods or techniques, or hardware devices, to aid your participation in the Games on the Site.
You agree that we may share your information with other persons or businesses, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, in order to operate our business and provide the Site to you.
You agree that all deposits/withdrawals to/from your player account are made to/from bank account(s), debit/credit card(s) or other payment options available in your country that belong solely to you and are in your name, and that you are not depositing funds derived from criminal, fraudulent, or other unauthorised means or activities.
What we can do
We may refuse to open an account for any reason.
We may suspend or close your account for any breach or suspected breach of these Rules or for any other valid reason. Upon closure of Your Account, the available balance in Your Account will be paid to you in a timely manner and in any event no later than 5 working days, unless there is a reason to withhold such funds.
If we determine that information provided at registration is incorrect, we may close Your Account and retain any applicable funds in it. Similarly, if you fail any identification verification procedures, we may close your account and withhold any winnings.
If you attempt to open an additional account in addition to your first account, we will block or close the additional account and may also block or close your first account. If we keep your first account open, any remaining deposits from other accounts (if any) will be transferred to your first account. We will deduct a reasonable administrative fee of 10% (minimum EUR 30 or currency equivalent) for each additional account opened. We may also deduct further fees under these Rules.
If we determine there is more than one account registered for your household, we will block or close any accounts for that household.
We may share your personal and payment information with other persons or businesses, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, to verify your identity and complete any verification procedures we require.
We do not provide credit, except through bonuses or campaigns permitted by law. Any balance on Your Account will not earn interest. We are not a financial institution. Winnings from “no wagering” bonus cash credited to your account are capped at a maximum of twenty (20) times the credited amount; any additional winnings will be forfeited.
If you use the Website in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose of fun and recreational use, we may adjust Your Account to remove any money gained from such activity and we may permanently close the account.
We may refuse, terminate, or limit any bet or wager for any reason in accordance with our internal policies and regulation.
We will declare a bet or stake partially or fully void (and/or close Your Account) if we believe that any of the following apply:
You, or persons associated with you, may have directly or indirectly influenced the outcome of an event;
You, or persons associated with you, may have access to insider information that can influence the outcome of an event;
You, or persons associated with you, are engaged in arbitrage or matched betting;
You and/or persons associated with you directly or indirectly breach the Rules;
The result of an event has been directly or indirectly affected by criminal activity;
A significant change in odds occurred, for example due to a public announcement in relation to an event;
Bets have been offered, placed and/or accepted that we would not have accepted due to a technical issue affecting the Site at that time or due to a mistake, misprint, and/or circumstances outside our control.
We may close Your Account, cancel and/or refund any winnings shown in the “Available to Bet” balance (after deduction of any withdrawal charges), withhold winnings and/or apply debits as required (including in relation to damage caused by you), in accordance with regulation, and we may withhold reasons and/or provide no notice. If we do so, all valid contractual obligations in place at the time of closure will be honoured.
If we suspect you are involved in illegal or fraudulent activities relating to your use of the Site (or a third party’s use of the Site), have issues with creditors, or engage in behaviour detrimental to the Site, we may freeze or close Your Account and/or cancel stakes.
We offer fair, open and transparent progressive jackpots on specific games for players who use our services for entertainment purposes only. Where we suspect that the intended spirit of a game or promotion is being abused, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel your access to the relevant game. Where necessary, we may also close your account with immediate effect. Where Your Account has been terminated, we will not be liable for any losses incurred up to the point of closure, and we will not consider refunds of balances remaining on the account. “Abuse” includes (without limitation) software-aided play on multiple games concurrently to generate more rounds than would be possible naturally by a single human player, and “cherry-picking” games with “value” jackpots to the exclusion of other games. Where abuse has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt, we reserve the right to confiscate all winnings and any remaining account balance.
All transactions will be monitored and/or reviewed to prevent money laundering in accordance with applicable Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
Payment Rules
Making deposits
Information about payment methods is available under both the “My Account” and “Deposit” pages of the Site. The payment methods available to you, average processing times, and applicable service fees may change. Certain payment methods may not be available in all countries.
By choosing a payment method, you agree to the terms governing that payment method and to any charges or service fees applicable to deposits and withdrawals made using that method. You confirm that the payment method is valid, that the payment account or card belongs to you, and that you are authorised to use it.
It is unlawful to deposit money obtained illegally.
We accept payments in EUR or such other currencies as may be available in the currency dropdown from time to time. You must choose one currency for Your Account depending on the country you are playing from. Any payments received in a currency other than the one you selected will be converted into your account currency at an exchange rate determined by us. Any exchange premiums are payable by you.
Where payment is made by credit card, we may request a certified copy of that credit card (front and back). Only the first 6 digits and the last 4 digits must be visible, and the CVV/CVV2 on the back must not be visible. The credit card must be in your name and must not be in another person’s name.
We do not accept cash directly or cash delivered to any payment solution provider.
Identity verification of a customer is triggered once the customer reaches the equivalent of two thousand euro (€2000) in deposits, whether reached by a single transaction or a series of transactions within a rolling 180-day period. We may also carry out verification procedures for lower deposits and/or in connection with withdrawals.
Payouts
When the outcome of a Game you participate in is determined, or when we confirm the result of an event, any winnings will be credited and made available in Your Account.
If we mistakenly credit Your Account with winnings that do not belong to you for any reason, we will reverse the credit. If you have withdrawn the funds before we become aware of the error, you must inform us immediately and you will be required to repay them. If you do not, we will pursue all available legal remedies to recover the debt.
Withdrawals
You may withdraw any amount up to the “Available to Bet” balance in Your Account by submitting a valid withdrawal request in accordance with our maximum daily, weekly, and monthly limits set out below. Withdrawal requests must be made on the Site only.
If you wish to withdraw all funds, you must first cancel any outstanding stakes.
You agree that funds in Your Account must be used only for playing the Games available on the Site. If you request a withdrawal without having turned over an amount equal to or greater than the amount deposited, we will charge an administration fee of 10%, with a minimum of EUR 5 (or currency equivalent). This will be applied in accordance with our internal security processes and procedures. We may reject a withdrawal request if we suspect that the withdrawal is requested for fraudulent or money laundering purposes.
Before processing a withdrawal, we may request legal identification, for example certified copies of passports, ID cards, or other documentation as we deem necessary. We may also conduct phone verification, face verification, or other verification as required to confirm your identity. We reserve the right to cancel a withdrawal if we are awaiting updated legal identification from you.
Where the withdrawal is to be made using a credit card, we may request a certified copy of that credit card (front and back). Only the first 6 digits and the last 4 digits must be visible, and the CVV/CVV2 on the back must not be visible. The credit card must be in your name and must not be in another person’s name.
The maximum withdrawal amount processed to a player is €10,000 per day, €25,000 per week, and €100,000 per month (or local currency equivalent), unless otherwise specified in the terms and conditions of a specific promotion.
All withdrawals must be processed using the same payment method used for the deposit, unless we decide otherwise or you are unable to do so. If you deposit using multiple payment methods, we reserve the right to split your withdrawal across those methods and process each part via the relevant method at our discretion and in accordance with anti-money laundering policies and regulation.
We may request that you redirect your withdrawal, cancel it, or redirect it to a different withdrawal method in accordance with anti-money laundering policies and/or regulation.
Cancellation of a withdrawal (whether initiated by you or by us) does not entitle you to compensation if you choose to play with funds in Your Account before the withdrawal is completed.
We will charge a reasonable administrative fee where you process more than two withdrawals/payouts per rolling 24-hour period. The fee is 3% of the transaction value, capped at EUR 20 (or currency equivalent), and it applies to each withdrawal after the second within the rolling 24-hour period.
More information about withdrawal methods is available under the “Withdrawal” pages of the Site. The methods available to you, average processing times, and applicable service fees may change.
Chargebacks
If a chargeback is requested by the provider of a card or deposit method you used, we may take the following steps:
We may block Your Account;
We may take any action available to us by law;
A chargeback notice may be issued and sent to you using your registration details;
We will use the same payment method selected by you at deposit to process the chargeback;
If we are unable to confirm your identity and the payment method used to credit the relevant account, we will send two reminder emails, each subject to a reasonable administrative fee of fifty (50) euros (or currency equivalent), deducted from Your Account funds unrelated to the chargeback.
Your Account balance may become negative in chargeback scenarios.
Closing Your Account
You may close Your Account at any time by contacting support directly at [email protected]
When you close your Account:
You must first cancel any outstanding offers for stakes that you have made;
You must contact support and specifically request closure of Your Account;
We will promptly transfer all funds from your player account (subject to deduction of relevant withdrawal charges) to bank account(s), debit/credit card(s), or other payment options available in your country (excluding cash), which belong solely to you and are in your name. Such transfers will be executed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
If you wish to recover funds from closed, blocked, or excluded accounts, you must contact support.
If you are closing Your Account due to gambling addiction concerns, please visit the ibet Responsible Gambling section.
Inactive accounts
An inactive account is an account that has not been accessed or logged into for an uninterrupted period of 12 months.
Once Your Account becomes inactive, we will charge an administrative fee of EUR 5.00 (or currency equivalent) per month from your account until your real money balance reaches zero, unless you log in to Your Account or withdraw the funds.
If you log in after we begin charging the administrative fee, we will stop charging it. You may request a full refund of the administrative fees charged up to that point by contacting support. The inactivity period will then restart from your most recent login date.
We reserve the right to close inactive accounts with a zero real money balance at our discretion.
Bonuses
Any Bonus is available only once per person, family, household, address, e-mail address, credit card number, bank account, telephone number, computer/device and/or IP address.
Any “welcome” Bonuses are available only to new customers who open an account on the Site, who have never previously held an account on the Site, who have never received a welcome offer of any kind, and who are invited to participate in a welcome offer because it is specifically offered to them at registration.
Some bonuses must be manually activated in Your Account. Unless otherwise stated, you can activate such bonuses after logging into Your Account and depositing the amount required to qualify. Such bonuses can be activated only when real money is available in Your Account. If you use any deposited funds before claiming the Bonus, any lost funds cannot be used to activate the Bonus.
Rest of the World Customers
The bonus amount will be credited to a Bonus Balance, separate from your Cash Balance. When you claim a Bonus, your real money, the Bonus, and all winnings generated from them will remain as bonus money, subject to restrictions, and will not be withdrawable or wagered on other products until the wagering requirements are met. Your balance will become available again only once the wagering requirements are met, at which point the amount in the Bonus Balance linked to the active bonus will be transferred to your Cash Balance.
All Bonuses have wagering requirements that must be completed within a specified time frame before any winnings and/or bonuses can be withdrawn. The wagering requirements for a Bonus mean the total amount you must stake before the Bonus and any accrued winnings are transferred to your Cash Balance and can be withdrawn. Wagering requirements for each Bonus are set out in the specific Bonus terms and are expressed as a multiple of the Bonus amount, or of the Bonus plus the Deposit amount, together with a time limit by which this play-through must be completed. Failure to meet the wagering requirements and/or forfeiture of an active Bonus for any reason may result in forfeiture of all winnings attained during the wagering period. Any attempt to withdraw funds or cash out placed bets before completion of the wagering requirement may result in forfeiture of the Bonus and any winnings. System bets do not count towards wagering requirements. Only bets placed and settled during the campaign period will count. Bets placed and settled outside that period will not count.
Any evidence or reasonable suspicion that bets were placed on any Game without risk (for example, betting in proportions on different outcomes in the same hand to create “action”) will not qualify for wagering requirements. Examples include betting on red and black simultaneously in Roulette, or betting on player and banker simultaneously in Baccarat. If you are found to be colluding with other players (for example, one betting player and the other betting banker), your bets will be cancelled, your account closed, and all deposits may be forfeited.
Where any Bonus is capable of giving you guaranteed or increased chances of profit irrespective of outcome (for example due to enhanced odds), and we have evidence or reasonable suspicion that you have placed a bet or multiple bets (alone or with a group) across any ibet Group websites on such a Bonus, we may remove the Bonus and all winnings attained during the wagering of the Bonus, and we may close Your account and withhold all funds remaining in Your Account at our absolute discretion.
If you cancel a Bonus, you will lose the Bonus and all winnings generated from it. Applicable restrictions are set out in the specific promotion terms.
We may refuse to grant a Bonus or may alter a Bonus (including cancellation) if we believe that:
the Bonus is being abused (including, without limitation, a player using promotions without ever risking their own funds);
technical issues have occurred in relation to the Bonus;
the Bonus cannot be conducted as planned for any reason.
We offer promotions in good faith to players who use our services for entertainment purposes. We reserve the right to cancel or remove a player’s access to these promotions in cases of suspected abuse and, where necessary, to terminate the offender’s account with immediate effect. If an offender’s account is closed, we will not be liable to refund any losses made by the player on any games or to refund any balances on the player’s account. “Abuse” includes, without limitation, using software and/or opening multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage on a Bonus. In all cases of abuse, we reserve the right to withhold all winnings and any remaining balances in Your Account.
Therefore, if we detect abuse of a bonus and/or breach of bonus terms, we may:
Revoke and/or cancel any bonuses and bonus winnings we consider to have been obtained through misuse of the system; and/or
Bar players found to be abusing bonuses from receiving further bonuses; and/or
Terminate accounts associated with abuse.
Examples of what may be deemed abuse include, but are not limited to:
Using more than one account,
Equal, zero or low margin bets,
Placing bets above the maximum stake allowed while a bonus is active, namely £6 per game round or 50 pence per line (or currency equivalent),
Wagering bonuses on excluded games,
Collusion,
Manipulation of software, exploitation of loopholes or other technical abuse, or other deliberate cheating,
Masking IP address or using a VPN.
All Bonuses are intended for recreational players and/or as tokens of appreciation, and we therefore reserve the right to restrict eligibility to participate in all or part of any Bonus.
The maximum withdrawal amount from winnings earned from any bonus or free spins/bonus spins offer before a deposit has been made is €100 (or the equivalent in your account currency).
Unless otherwise stated on the specific bonus landing pages, all Casino Bonuses are subject to a maximum bet restriction of €6 per game round or €0.50 per line (or currency equivalent). Failure to comply may result in account closure and forfeiture of the Bonus and any winnings attained during wagering. For currency equivalents, the following conversion rates apply unless otherwise stated in the Bonus terms:
EUR: €1
NOK: €1 = 10kr
GBP: €1 = £1
USD: €1 = $1
Irregular Play
We may review records and play transactions and/or monitor your use of any Bonus at any time. If irregular play is suspected, we reserve the right to disqualify you from any free spins/bonus spins promotion or Bonus or other promotion and/or withhold deposits and/or winnings and/or close Your Account. Irregular play is considered bonus abuse and is not permitted on the Site. Irregular play includes (without limitation) low margin betting, equal betting, zero risk bets or hedge betting where carried out deliberately to exploit bonuses. The following are also considered irregular play:
increasing the balance and then significantly changing your gaming pattern (bet amount, game type, bet structure, or other betting pattern) to complete wagering requirements;
using any betting system or placing even money bets on any game of chance; and/or
using the “Double-Up” or gamble feature within a game to increase win values;
increasing your balance after placing high value bets and then placing bets of less than half the prior bet value in order to meet wagering requirements;
wagering on Games that do not contribute to wagering requirements or that have a 0% wagering weight as specified in the bonus landing page terms;
wagering with bonus money to build value, losing the bonus, and then cashing out the built value with a secondary deposit.
Responsible gaming
Gambling can be addictive. If you need help, please follow the link to our responsible gaming page on the Site. We provide tools including, without limitation, game limits, game pause, self-exclusion, and similar measures to help you control your gaming activity.
Limits
You may impose limits on Your Account as follows:
Deposit Limit
You may limit your maximum deposits. The limit will automatically block further deposits once the set limit is exceeded within the selected time frame.
If you change your mind, these limits can be adjusted. Increasing or revoking a limit takes effect only after 24 hours. Decreasing a limit takes effect immediately.
Session Time Limit – timeout
You may limit the time you spend playing our Games. A pop-up will remind you of the time limit you set and will allow you to log out or continue playing. Please contact support to set this limit.
If you change your mind, these limits can be adjusted by notifying us via email. Increasing or revoking a limit takes effect only after seven (7) days. Decreasing a limit takes effect immediately.
Activity Check
When playing on Sports or Games on the Site:
ibet summarises your gaming activity in a pop-up and asks whether you wish to continue playing.
Self-Exclusion and Cool off
You may exclude yourself from playing on our website. To do so, you must log in and go to the Self Exclusion page or contact our Support channels. For residents outside Great Britain or Northern Ireland, you specify the self-exclusion period, and your account will automatically be reactivated after that period ends. Players may self-exclude from a specific brand if they believe it necessary to control or limit their gambling behaviour. A self-exclusion request for one brand applies only to that brand and does not automatically apply to other brands, even if operating under the same licensing umbrella. If you wish to extend self-exclusion to all brands under our company’s licence, you must expressly contact our Support Team for that purpose.
If you choose self-exclusion, you will not be able to open any account with the Site. You will also forfeit entry into any competition or draw entered prior to self-exclusion and forfeit any non-cash prizes or invitations granted or offered before self-exclusion that have not been redeemed or used (for example, event tickets where the event occurs during the self-exclusion period will be withdrawn automatically). You will not receive marketing campaigns or personal messages from us until your self-exclusion period expires, to avoid promoting gambling during your self-assessment period.
Test Yourself – Self-Assessment Test
If you are concerned you may have a gambling problem, you may take our Self-Assessment Test. If the result concerns you, consider activating self-exclusion or contact customer service for further assistance and guidance.
Miscarried and aborted games
We take all reasonable steps to avoid technical issues, but they may still occur. Accordingly:
We, our suppliers and/or licensors are not liable for downtime, server disruptions, lag, or any technical or political disturbance to gameplay. Refunds may be issued only at management’s discretion;
We, our suppliers and/or licensors accept no liability for damages or losses arising out of or in connection with the Site or its content, including (without limitation):
Delays or interruptions in operation or transmission;
Loss or corruption of data;
Communication or line failures;
Misuse of the Site or its content;
Errors or omissions in content;
In the event of a casino system malfunction all wagers are void;
If your Game miscarries due to a system failure, we will refund the amount wagered by crediting Your Account, or if Your Account no longer exists, by paying you directly in an approved manner. If you had accrued credit at the time of the miscarriage, the monetary value of that credit will be paid to Your Account or, if Your Account no longer exists, paid to you directly in an approved manner;
We will take all reasonable steps to ensure our computer system enables participation in a Game. If gameplay is interrupted after you place a wager due to failure of telecommunications or your computer system, the Game will resume at the exact time immediately prior to interruption. If resumption is not possible, we will:
Terminate the game;
Refund the wager amount by crediting Your Account.

General Betting Rules
Special betting rules apply to certain sports and betting markets and take precedence over the General Betting Rules.
In addition to the general and special betting rules, specific rules apply to some betting markets.
Sports bets may be placed as single, combination (accumulated) or system bets. Single bets may not be permitted for certain sports or events. Details are shown in the current odds lists (e.g. minimum 3 games).
For presentation purposes, the following phrases, characters or numbers are used, with meanings as set out below:
‘1’ means the first-mentioned team wins. ‘2’ means the second-mentioned team wins. ‘X’ means a draw.
‘2-way bet’: A bet on ‘1’ wins if the first-mentioned team wins. A bet on ‘2’ wins if the second-mentioned team wins. In the event of a tie, stakes are refunded.
‘Over/under-bet’: A bet on ‘-’ wins if the number of events is less than the number stated. A bet on ‘+’ wins if the number of goals/events is higher.
‘Double chance’: ‘1X’ means the first-mentioned team does not lose. ‘X2’ means the second-mentioned team does not lose. ‘12’ means the game will not end in a draw.
‘Bet on the run of play’: ‘1/1’ means the first-mentioned team scores first and wins. ‘1/X’ means the first-mentioned team scores first and the game ends in a draw. ‘1/2’ means the first-mentioned team scores first and then loses.
‘Handicap’: One team starts with a “fictional lead” that is added to the final result for settlement. A handicap of 0:1.5 means the second-named team has 1.5 points/goals added to its final result.
‘Rest of the game bet’: Events already concluded (e.g. goals or played sets) do not count.
For all sports, the result after regular time, including injury/stoppage time, applies. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs do not affect settlement unless stated in the market or special rules.
If the party you bet on does not participate, regardless of reason, but the event takes place, the bet is lost. If the entire event does not take place, bets are invalid.
Only a player who scores for their own team is considered the goal scorer/point scorer.
For ‘goal scorer’ bets, the selected player must start the match; otherwise the bet is invalid. Subsequent substitutions do not count for this purpose. Exception: “1st goal scorer” bets remain valid even if the player does not start or does not participate.
For bets on standard situations (e.g. corners or free kicks), only the standard situation that actually occurred and the time it occurred are counted. For bets on the triggering event (e.g. foul, offside), the referee’s whistle time is used.
Dead heat: If two or more participants are declared winners, odds are divided accordingly.
Long-term bets
Long-term bets are generally offered on the outcome of a major event (tournament), for example:
Which football team will win the World Cup?
Who will win Wimbledon?
Which team will be relegated from the German Bundesliga?
Long-term bets are settled regardless of whether all participants are listed or take part. Stakes are lost if the participant/team you backed does not take part or withdraws.
Settlement is based on the final official outcome at midnight (local time of the event) after the last match/event day. Any changes after that time do not affect settlement.
If two or more participants share a final position, odds are divided by the number of participants sharing that position.
Live bets
Live bets are available after an event has started. Odds are continuously adjusted to the current state of play. Because timely data is essential, live odds are shown on dedicated screens in betting shops or on the Website.
Once ibet has accepted a live bet, it cannot be cancelled by the customer.
If transmission delays and/or delayed TV reporting result in a major change in play not being reflected in the odds, ibet may declare affected bets invalid.
For each live bet, the latest score is quoted. The bet is invalid if the latest score quoted is materially incorrect.
General betting rules and specific sports rules also apply to live bets.
All information provided by ibet is without guarantee, including on the Website, advertising, social media channels and newsletters. In particular, starting times, results, statistics, and live scores may change without ibet’s knowledge or may be incorrectly transmitted by third parties.
ibet is not responsible for the accuracy of additional information about a contest (e.g. league cup or friendly), shortened playing time (short tournaments, indoor tournaments), or venue (neutral ground). Such information does not affect settlement.
Combination bets across multiple markets for the same event (e.g. SS Lazio to win and correct score 4:1 for SS Lazio) are prohibited.
In cases of doubt (e.g. whether a goal is an own goal), settlement is based on the official decision of the relevant association.
Placing Bets Cash out
Each time the customer places a bet, the customer acknowledges the General Terms and Conditions in their current version.
The minimum stake per bet is EUR 1.00. Deviating rules on minimum stake amounts may apply.
A bet is accepted only when the customer’s account has sufficient funds. If a wager is accepted despite insufficient funds due to a technical fault, the bet is deemed not to have been placed. If funds cover only part of the stake, ibet may accept the bet with a stake equal to the available funds.
The customer must check that bet details are correct. In some circumstances, ibet allows cancellation. Cancellation can be requested online under “My Bets”. Live bets generally cannot be cancelled.
A bet is accepted when the customer receives confirmation and it is shown under “My Bets”.
A bet is invalid if the date/time of placement or required personal data is verifiably missing due to transmission errors. The stake will be refunded.
ibet sets a fixed deadline for acceptance of bets. Bets accepted after the start of the event are invalid in any case, except for live bets.
Only ibet’s records are authoritative regarding the content of bets. Upon request, ibet will present these records. Adjustments can be made only in the case of an obvious error or obvious typing or calculation error.
Only natural persons acting in their own name and on their own account may enter betting contracts with ibet. Betting in the name of or on account of third parties or as a syndicate is not permitted.
Gaining an unfair advantage through collusion or association with other customers or dishonest methods is prohibited. If irregularities are discovered (e.g. the same bet placed frequently or with unusually high stakes), such bets may be declared invalid and the customer’s account closed.
Without prejudice to regulation A.II.1.e, ibet may permit commercial bets with prior authorisation/approval.
Bets on sporting events in which the customer is involved (e.g. as a sportsman, owner, manager or official of a participating association) are not permitted. ibet may cancel such bets even after the event has ended. This also applies where association regulations are violated.
If it is known that the outcome was known, or the customer had knowledge relating to the outcome at the time a bet was accepted, the bet may be declared invalid.
The customer can view and print betting history under “Account Details”.
Cashout
We may, at our absolute discretion, allow you to take a return on a wager before settlement of the market (Cashout).
Cashout may be available on selected pre-match and in-play sports markets via the internet and iPhone/Android app only. Cashout may not be available at all times.
Cashout is available for fixed odds wagers only.
Cashout is not available for:
Wagers placed with free bets or risk free bets; or
Multi wagers, unless each leg/event within the multi wager is available for Cashout.
System bets.
A predetermined settlement value (Cashout Price) may be offered based on selections, prizes taken and the current status of the wager.
Cashout may not be available for certain pre-match wagers where the event has commenced (in-play). For multi wagers, Cashout may be unavailable if any leg is pre-match and the related event has commenced.
To Cashout, you must select “Confirm Cashout” or “Confirm” (a Cashout Request). You cannot cancel a Cashout Request after confirmation.
We may, at our absolute discretion, accept or decline a Cashout Request. A Cashout Request may be declined for reasons including (without limitation) a change in odds or market suspension (including any leg of a multi wager).
If a Cashout Request is declined, a message will be shown and a new Cashout Price may be offered. If you do not submit a Cashout Request at the new price, the original wager will settle in accordance with the original instructions and odds at acceptance.
Where a Cashout Request is accepted:
Your original wager ends (is Cashed Out);
We will pay the Cashout Price;
The wager is deemed settled and we have no further obligations regarding it. You will not receive any payout, dividend or refund relating to the Cashed Out wager; and
The subsequent occurrence or non-occurrence of the event(s) does not create additional rights or obligations.
Acceptance of a Cashout Request does not create a new wager; it is an agreement to end the original wager early.
The Cashout Price includes your original stake. The Cashout Price is non-negotiable and will not exceed the original estimated return.
You are not eligible for any Bonuses or promotions in relation to wagers successfully Cashed Out.
A Cashed Out wager does not count toward turnover or wagering requirements for Bonuses, rewards, prizes, or campaign tasks.
If a Cashout Request is accepted in error (including an incorrect Cashout Price) or an incorrect amount is credited in connection with a Cashed Out wager, we may adjust the account to rectify the error, including:
settling for the Cashout Price that would have applied absent the error; or
reversing the Cashout and settling the wager under the original instructions.
If an adjustment results in a debit balance, we may recover the deficit as a debt due.
We may suspend, amend, restrict or cease offering Cashout at any time, on any market or to any customer, without reason or notice, even if Cashout has been advertised. We are not liable for losses arising from Cashout being unavailable, including where advertised as available for a particular event or time.
We may void a Cashed Out wager, refuse Cashout, or require repayment of amounts paid (including Cashout Price) where:
We reasonably suspect a wager or Cashout Request was made by individuals/groups acting together to defraud us; or
The wager or Cashout Request was made after the event finished; or
We are otherwise entitled to void or recover amounts under these Rules.
You acknowledge that circumstances within or beyond our control may prevent, limit or delay Cashout, and we are not liable for losses connected with:
Cashout being unavailable or delayed; and/or
Any act or omission (deliberate or negligent) by you, any customer, or third party in connection with Cashout.
We are not liable for losses arising from a customer’s use of Cashout or from acceptance/decline of a Cashout Request.
If a wager was not eligible for Cashout at the time it was placed, you cannot Cashout that wager even if Cashout becomes available later.
Scoreboard services and third-party information streams are for guidance only. We accept no liability for bets Cashed Out based on such information.
Bet Builder Rules
Bet Builder bets placed on Football apply to 90 minutes plus injury time, unless explicitly stated to apply to extra time and penalties. Match officials determine whether the full 90 minutes and injury time have been played.
If any individual selection is void, or a player in the bet does not take any part in the match, the entire bet is void.
For obvious pricing errors, we reserve the right to cancel any bets placed at the incorrect price.
If an event is abandoned, any bets where the outcome has already been decided (e.g. half-time result or first team to score) will stand.
